OUR WINE LIST
Owner François Louy & Sommelier, Rocco Spagnardi, work hard
to create one of the most unique and affordable wine lists in the city.
Focusing on the hard to find varietals, our list introduces the most
passionate producers in Italy who take pride in respecting the unique
characteristics of the land and grape varietals.
We believe wine is an essential part of a meal & work hard to
choose wines that best complement our menu.
In an effort to bring you these wines at reasonable prices, we have
the lowest mark up in the industry &
whenever we find a great deal on a fantastic wine, we pass it on to you.
JUST IN:
SYLVANER “PRAEPOSITUS” 2008 - ABAZIA DI NOVACELLA
An ancient varietal from Alto Adige, this crisp 100% Sylvaner
is the historic winery’s premium line, a selection of the very
best fruit. Light yellow color with green highlights. Lovely detail and
nuance in a layered expression of fresh fruit (sliced melon and pear),
spices and light citrus and honey flavors on the finish. Great length
and complexity with a decisive dry taste. Winner of the 3-Bicchieri award.

FUMIN “ESPRIT FOLLET” 2007 - LA CROTTA DI VEGNERON
Also winner of the 3-Bicchieri award, this fanastic single
vineyard from Vallee D'Aosta is 100% Fumin. Like
Lagrein and Teroldego, Fumin is a distant cousin of Syrah. As a result,
the wine is a bit bigger, darker, and rounder, with peppery notes, and
a lovely underlying minerality and acidity. The wine was aged predominantly
in Botti Grande (70%) and the balance in barriques, mostly used.
